PERSONAL COUNSELLING

You may be experiencing feelings of depression and isolation, low self-esteem or suffering from feelings of anxiety, without fully understanding why. You may be facing a life-changing event that has created shock or grief or there may be events from your past that are preventing you from living your life in the way you would like to. Engaging in one on one counselling can enable you to gain understanding and develop the skills to have a better life.

Children of Alcoholics (COA)

In a family where parental alcoholism is a problem, the children get caught up in the consequences of the parents illness and can become emotionally ill themselves.  Common issues can be low self-esteem, isolation, anxiety and inability to express themselves. These characteristics are often carried into adulthood and can cause ongoing issues.  Engaging in counselling can enable the child or adult child of an alcoholic (ACOA) to overcome the effects of being raised in this type of environment.
