ABOUT ME
I am passionate about people of all ages. I work with people from all walks of life across a broad range of issues including anxiety and depression, self esteem and confidence, trauma, relationship issues, loneliness, stress management and those affected by parental alcoholism (ACOA’s). As a qualified counsellor I offer short and long-term counselling in the Cromwell and Queenstown area. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative therapy, I am able to offer different counselling approaches to suit you and your situation. As a Christian, my faith gives me a strong foundation for the hope that I offer to those who seek my counselling services. Married for 34 years - my husband and I have overcome many obstacles that enables me to offer support to those who are experiencing difficulty in their marriage. Prior to my counselling career, I have 20+ years in Retail.
Some of my richest life experiences have come from being a wife, mother, grandmother, and host mum to 20+ International/Exchange students from different countries and cultures. These experiences strengthen the service I offer and enable me to bring openness, compassion, honesty, respect and caring to my counselling practice. I am committed to developing my skills and experience through an ongoing commitment to professional development. To talk to me about my services or to book an appointment, please call me on 021-0649228, or email christine@fullyalive.co.nz
